Flying While Pregnant
Women usually aren’t sure whether they should or should not fly while they are pregnant. It’s important to remember that some pregnant women have no problems with flying while others do. It all depends on a woman and how she deals with her pregnancy. In most cases it is safe to fly during pregnancy.
Doctors don’t recommend flying after the 36th week of pregnancy, and most airline companies have policies concerning flying women beyond the 34th week. So when booking your flight, make sure to ask them about their regulations. You don’t want to find out you’re not allowed to board in the last minute. Some companies also demand a doctor’s note granting that you are safe to fly.
If you are in your second trimester, this would be the best possible time for you to fly while pregnant. The chances of going into premature labor are low, and your morning sickness days will be behind you.

Don’t forget that you should be comfortable during flight. If you can afford it you should book first or business class. You should also make sure that your seat belt is under the abdomen, so it doesn’t cause any problems during the turbulence in the plane. If the flight is longer than 4 hours you should definitely stand up and stretch your legs every once in a while, to prevent swelling of your ankles.
Drink a lot of water so you don’t dehydrate, and be sure to bring some sweets. If any problem occurs, just ask one of the flight attendants to help you. Traveling can be stressful so try to relax, bring an I-pod with the music you enjoy and get comfortable pillows for your lower back. Also, a U-shaped pillow for your neck would be very useful.
If you are not completely sure about this you should consult your doctor before you make a final decision on flying.

How to Tell Your Parents You’re Pregnant
In case you are very young or even a teenager, the most difficult part of getting pregnant is the question whether or how to tell your parents you’re pregnant. Speaking up is hard, but it is also a brave and the most responsible act.
Letting your family know that you are having a baby can be complicated, but it depends on the way you share those news. Maybe this is the last situation they would want their child to be in – so they may get mad and panic – but you will realize that they are able to give you best support and advice. If you think it would be easier for your parents, you can to talk to them one at a time in private. Prepare yourself for rather strong reactions after telling the news. Their reaction doesn’t have to be harsh, but it is certain that it will result in strong emotions. Some parents react more emotional or even with anger, while others are easy to talk to in stressful situations.

Ask your partner or sibling to assist you when confronting parents. You can also ask your doctor for some advice on this. Plan the most convenient time and place. Think about your talk in advance in order to resist yelling back at them and make the big talk more productive. Give your best in explaining yourself and be calm. Tell them if you made the mistake. If the birth control method failed they should not blame it on you anyway. Give them some time to think and listen to their suggestions.
Share your feelings and show them how mature and brave you are or tend to be. Maybe you will need to have more than just one conversation. Give them some extra time to think and accept the news. No matter how difficult it may sound before telling your parents, you’ll see it’s the best possible way to solve the issue and make it through without consequences. Try to listen and respect their opinion. This can only bring your family closer together.

Signs That You Are Pregnant
In case you are doing your best to get pregnant and dying to know the result – or just want to rule out the possibility you’re pregnant – you must be familiar with signs of pregnancy. Check out next pregnancy symptoms before you take the test or go to the doctor’s.
Every single pregnancy is different and special and women have different symptoms at different periods. These guidelines may help you recognize them on your own body, while checking with gynecologist is always a good choice. Missing menstrual period is usually the first sign of pregnancy for most of the women. Morning sickness or tiredness is next to pay attention to.

If you have been feeling tired and wiped out for several days, this may actually mean something. Breast changes tend to be the first physical sign of pregnancy. Breasts become sore, area around the nipples turns darker and veins across breasts become more visible. They become tender, just like before period. This is quite an important sign in case it isn’t your period time or usually don’t have any breasts changes. A lot of women also experience craving for particular food.
Another sign can be sensitivity to aromas, which is a side effect of the estrogen production in your body. Frequent need to urinate is a normal symptom for the first and the last trimester as a result of uterus swelling over bladder. Having cramps/low back pain as a consequence of the uterus expanding is also something to pay attention to. Body temperature that’s higher than usual can make you feel warmer. While most of the signs are physical, emotional changes are common as well. Some women say they just had a feeling they were pregnant.
Although the intuition may be wrong, in many cases it is correct. Dreams of being pregnant also show deep inner feelings during early pregnancy. It hasn’t been completely explained, but those vivid pregnancy dreams are thought to be caused by hormonal changes. If you have these symptoms make an appointment at the doctor’s and find out whether you’re pregnant or not.
